About Dayshine:
Locally owned, Dayshine Therapy and Wellness, PLLC was founded in 2011 by Dr. Dauphine Sisk-Wambles OTD, OTR/L. Over the years, she has offered pediatric occupational therapy (OT) to local children as an independent and clinical provider. She has also developed small group programs in yoga and martial arts. Dauphine added the ultimate in sensory experiences for children when she brought TimberNook to Moore County, NC. TimberNook of the Sandhills offers year-round preschool and kindergarten forest school enrichment programs, weeklong summer camps, field trips, and the occasional birthday party.

About Dauphine:
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Development in 1996. While attending Southwest Missouri State University, Dauphine combined her love of horses with her love of children. She spent seven years, starting as a volunteer, and then earning the position as program director for Therapeutic Riding of the Ozarks. An interest in occupational therapy started at this time when she was mentored by an OT at the program. Dauphine later went on to earn a clinical doctorate from Washington University’s School of Medicine, Program in Occupational Therapy in 2005.
Dauphine has 25 years of experience working with children of all abilities in a variety of settings. Over those years, she saw the emerging nature deficit in children and its negative effect on their academic progress. Becoming a mother solidified her vision to provide engaging outdoor programming for all children. Dauphine has been providing occupational therapy and specialized group programming in the Fayetteville and Moore County, NC areas since 2006.
