Occupational therapy works best when it's specific. At Dayshine, that means looking carefully at how a child's nervous system takes in and responds to the world — and building from there, not from a one-size strategy applied to a symptom.
Our 1:1 and Bridge OT sessions draw from a clinical toolkit that goes deeper than general sensory strategies. Therapeutic Listening and Astronaut Training are two structured protocols we use with genuine fidelity — which means the right equipment, a clinician who knows exactly when and why to apply them, and consistent follow-through at home between sessions. That home piece matters. Families who see the fastest, most lasting changes are the ones who commit to daily practice — sometimes twice daily — using the materials and guidance we provide. This is a partnership. We'll ask for your observations, adjust based on what you're seeing, and stay in direct contact in ways that aren't always possible in busier clinic settings.
We won't promise outcomes we can't deliver. What we can offer is a clinical lens that many families haven't encountered yet — and the follow-through to use it well.
